Look up any IFSC code → bank name, branch, city, address. Format-validate too.
Indian Financial System Code — an 11-character alphanumeric code uniquely identifying a bank branch for electronic fund transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS). Format: 4 letters (bank code) + 0 + 6 alphanumeric (branch code).
Printed on your cheque book (top), your bank passbook, or via your bank's mobile/net banking. Also available on the RBI website and at ifsc.bankbazaar.com.
It validates format for all IFSC codes and identifies the bank name for 30+ major Indian banks. Full branch lookup (address, phone) requires an RBI database query — the official RBI 'locate bank branch' tool is most accurate for that.
RBI standard — the 5th character is reserved as 0 for future use. If the 5th character of your IFSC isn't 0, it's either invalid or an old format (rarely seen today).
